1-31-07 Topic: Life's a river ride

Ok. I am going to write this before I forget! I will write The part 2 for "Animal friends" Most likely tomorrow. After this its off to spelling!


Life is like a ride in a river.

You can't go the way you want.

You have to go with the flow, and try to enjoy the trip.

It is never always going in the same direction.

Sometimes, you hit a block, which at first seems impossible to get past. Slowly but surely, you eventually make yourself able to get around, and keep going, leaving the "passed" behind you.

Sometimes you can make a wrong turn, into a place thats dark and scary. Yet you keep on going.

Sometimes, what seems like an easy path can turn into a living heck.

What once was beautiful and calm, turns into a mess.

Sometimes, when the going gets rough you lose a few things. At first you cry, but eventually know you're better off without it.

Sometimes you see supplies on the banks. You pass by it, thinking "Im okay..." but you later on regret it, and know there's no way of going back.

When you look on the surface, all you see is some boring, rushing water. But then, you look under the surface. You see all sorts of beautiful things you were going right by.

At some point, you have time to forget the rough times, and just immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. This only lasts a few moments, before you get dragged back into chaos.



Eventually, you reach the end of the river.

Even if it isn't where you planned to end up, you had fun.
